Low cost provider means that their business more focused to some buyers who want buy item at the lower price.
Example for this strategy is MYDIN . Mydin more focuses who want buy their product by bulks. So, Mydin sell their item more cheaper than Giant and Tesco.
Second : Focused Differentiation
While, focused differentiation means that
their business more focused to some buyers based on their taste and requirement
of niche members
Example is handbag from Louis Vuitton. Everyone know
that Brand Louis Vuitton is the some of the luxury item. This brand more
focused on group high class people .
Third : Low - Cost Provider
Means that, company want to achieve lower costs that rivals on their product to attract a broad spectrum buyers.
Example : KFC and McDonalds.
everyone can go to McD or KFC because their price is affordable with all people. even have some their food is quite expensive, but the taste of the food is superbbb !!!
Fourth : Broad Differentiation
broad differentiation is differentiating the firm’s product
offering from rivals’ with attributes that
appeal to a broad spectrum of buyers .
Example of this strategy is IKEA . IKEA also is luxury item but the price is affordable with their product and everyone also can buy and get it .
Fifth : Best Cost Provider
Best cost provider means that their business give more value for the money by offering the quality product at a lower cost than rivals.
Example : Perodua have many type for their product . Who want buy the car at the lower price, they can buy Viva. But, if they want the car like a luxury they can by Alza because Alza like more to high people taste but the price is more cheaper than the other company.
